From Sick’s to Molson

Better known as the Molson Brewery, the former Sick's Brewery building was constructed in 1913, and, surviving prohibition, continued to brew for the folks of Edmonton as Molson's until it's closure in August 2007 on the heels on a workers' strike.

Goodbye, and Hello Newfoundland! – Part 2

In my previous post, "Goodbye, and Hello Newfoundland! - Part 1", I said a solemn late goodbye to my grandparents, and then took you through my adventures on the west coast of Newfoundland, visiting my parents' respective hometowns of Englee and Roddickton, my own hometown of Corner Brook, and some other stops along the way. The next part of my return to Newfoundland took me to the east coast and my university city of St. John's.
