"Can we bring our dog with us on our engagement shoot?" Lorraine asked. Well, of course you can! I love dogs, and they sure do add a little more personality to any photo. And little Emily was no exception on this winter-y photo session with Lorraine and Craig to mark the occasion of their engagement.

By my own admission, I have had a very, very challenging week this week. My spirit is incredibly weak. But I've been fighting it with every ounce of strength I possess, searching for sources of inspiration wherever I can.

I love the wonderful feedback that I receive on my photography. I love to see how my work connects with people, and who connects with which photos. I receive feedback from a variety of sources, from word of mouth to blog comments to my social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and Instagram. And any time someone takes the time to provide me feedback, it's meaningful to me. But some of the responses that I receive touch me in a very significant way. Yesterday, I received an email from an admirer of my work, and I was very deeply moved by it.
