I've come to enjoy walking the High-Level bridge in Edmonton in the evenings when I'm feeling pensive.

This morning, I was awoken in bed by nearly blindingly-yellow-red light passing through the crack between the shades in my bedroom and across my face. Curious, I crawled out of bed and looked out my living room window to a most spectacular sunrise.

Those of you that know me well know that I have a long-standing love affair with the moon, but lately, I've been appreciating the sunsets. It was a painfully long, dark winter, and I haven't ever appreciated the coming of spring as much as I have this year. These evening sunsets are a refreshing change from the drab, afternoon sunsets during winter.
