Any opportunity to combine my two greatest passions – wedding photography and travel – are a dream come true. In October, I had such an opportunity, as I joined Alix and Jean-Francois in Portovenere, Italy to capture their dreamy destination wedding.
I desperately needed a little sunshine. After another long Canadian winter, and my three cooler-weather vacations to France, The Netherlands, and Switzerland last year, I absolutely craved some real heat. If you know anything about me, you know how much I enjoy the Christmas season. Twinkling lights, holiday songs, fresh snow, great food, abundant joy, and a spirit of selflessness and cheer. What's not to love? Imagine my excitement then when I had the opportunity to join Megan and Stefan on the weekend before Christmas at Jasper Park Lodge in the stunning Canadian Rockies.
